Description
Peak DeScale is a special blend of acids that removes scale from food processing equipment by spray circulation cleaning.
For use in all food processing plants, including:
- Dairies
- Breweries
- Fish Processing Plants
- Beverage Plants
Peak DeScale may also be used for caustic neutralization after cleaning and prior to sanitizing for food processing equipment.
- Effective on scale at lower use levels than most comparable products
- Will not harm stainless steel at use levels
- Non- foaming
- Outperforms 75% strength phosphoric acid
DAIRY USE: Use Peak DeScale at 1/2 to 2 ounces per gallon of water at 100° – 140°F for acid cleaning of milkhouse equipment, through a CIP system for 10 – 20 minutes. Food contact surfaces are to be rinsed with potable water before re-use. Sanitize just before milking.
ACID RINSING: Peak DeScale should be used after each alkaline cleaning on all milkhouse equipment to prevent milkstone formation. Prepare acid rinse, using 1/4 to 1/2 ounce per gallon of water.
BREWERY USE: Use Peak DeScale at a concentration of 1/4 to 1%, at a temperature between 100° – 140°F, for acid cleaning of piping, tanks, kegs, etc. Cleaning may be done by circulation, manual cleaning methods, or soaking.
