Description
I-O-Safe is a low foaming iodophor designed primarily for sanitizing in the following industries:
- Beer
- Beverage
- Milk bottling
- Food processing and canning
I-O-Safe can be used for sanitizing at up to 25 ppm (1 ounce per 5 gallons of water) without requiring a rinse with potable water.
Uses include:
- Equipment Sanitizing
- Tank and Vat Sanitizing
- Sanitation of Walls, Floors, Conveyors, and other similar surfaces
- Sanitation of Food Contact Surfaces
- Sanitizing of Beverage Containers
Equipment sanitizing: To preclean equipment, wash with cold or lukewarm water with a solution of 1 ounce I-O-SAFE to 5 gallons water. Rinse with potable water. To sanitize, spray or immerse equipment with a fresh solution of 1 ounce I-O-SAFE to 5 gallons cold or lukewarm water (provides 25ppm titratable iodine). Allow a one minute contact time.
