Description
Ascent is a non-chlorinated alkaline powdered cleaner for use in cleaning food processing equipment in:
- Breweries
- Dairies
- Other food plants
Contains oxygen bleach in place of chlorine bleach, allowing it to efficiently remove stains and protein-based soils without the detrimental effects of chlorine.
Ascent is low foaming and may be used as a CIP cleaner or by hand. It is safe on surfaces found in meat processing plants, concentrated for low cost, and contains only biodegradable surfactants.
Ascent may be used for CIP cleaning at a concentration of 1/2 to 1-1/2 ounces per gallon at 130° – 150°F. For hand washing, use 1 to 2 ounces per gallon. After washing, rinse thoroughly with water, then follow with an acid rinse. Sanitize equipment just before processing begins.
